I’m back after a long break with a brand new episode of the Scale to Seven™ podcast! You might have noticed that my brand has a fresh look. For the past couple of months, I have been busy behind-the-scenes working on my rebranding and it was so hard to wait to share it, but finally, here we are!
My old brand served my business well, from the very beginning… since 2014! During those years, I have grown personally and professionally eventually my business had outgrown my brand. I know that what got me here is not going to get me to where I want to go. And the same is true for you. Some changes will be required for you to step into your role as a 7-figure CEO.
But before we dive into those changes, let’s explore what got you here, wherever here is for you. I’m sure you hustled to learn and do a lot of things yourself. You’ve likely come a long way with your mindset as you’ve faced many limiting beliefs early in your business. Once you’ve reached 6-figures, it’s natural to think that you should continue what you’re doing because it’s working.
But let’s be real, it’s not sustainable for you to keep hustling in order to get to 7-figures. Sure, you needed to take those steps to learn the lessons required to move forward in your business. These lessons helped you see more clearly where you want to be, helped you see that you are good enough, taught you that you always have a choice and that you are responsible for your success. Yes, you needed to go through everything you’ve gone through.. but now, it’s time to scale to seven™!
Here are 6 things that are required if you want to become a 7-figure CEO:
1. You need to know what your VISION is.
Every 7-figure CEO is not the same, and neither are their visions. Each and every one differs on how they run their business and lead their life. You need to be very clear and very specific on your vision.
2. Step into your role as a leader.
There will come a point in your business when you to need to build and cultivate a team, and it may come far sooner than you imagine. You’ll need to delegate and lead a team while still taking responsibility for your business.
3. View and treat your business as a company.
This is a massive shift that’ll make you show up differently in your business. This’ll give you a sense of your company being long-term and having more impact.
4. Focus on only what it will take to get you where you want to go.
As a visionary in your business, you’ll think of a million new ideas everyday and you’ll want to implement fast. An integrator will help you filter through your big ideas and move forward with the ones that align with your business goals.
5. Create a business that runs without you.
It may sound scary for your business to run without you, but imagine if you could take a couple of weeks off without worrying that your business is going to fall apart? This means putting systems and a team in place, and building a truly self-sustaining, scaleable business that lets you focus on the big picture instead of the day-to-day of your business.
6. Make decisions like a 7-figure CEO would.
Start acting like you’re already a 7-figure CEO! Always ask yourself what a 7-figure CEO would do? This will bring clarity on what you should be thinking about and doing in your business.'Your business today - the team, the structure, the systems - they are all designed to give you the results you are getting right now. If you want different results, you can't keep thinking and doing the same things that got you here. What would the 7-figure CEO inside of you think and do differently?' - Kathryn Binkley #scaletosevenClick To Tweet
