Are You Dreaming Big But Playing Small?

Tell me if this sounds familiar.

  • You want to travel the world.
  • Write a bestselling book.
  • Lead your own conferences.
  • Become financially independent.
  • Wake up everyday and live life on your own terms.
  • Leave a legacy for your family.

…but you’re leaving so much of what you have to offer on the table to wither away and never be discovered by the people who need you most.

I see entrepreneurs all the time with big dreams to make a massive impact in the world.

As women, we see the greatest potential in ourselves and want nothing more than to be able to create the life we envision for our families. It’s in our nature.

Yet, there’s also something that holds us back from taking the level of action that matches our lofty goals.

You can see them, taste them, smell them. You can literally reach out and touch them.

The question is…

  • Are you showing up consistently?
  • Are you promoting yourself?
  • Are you sharing your expertise with confidence?

You see…

Big dreams and small actions don’t align.

So, let’s talk about what’s stopping you in your tracks on the path to meeting your goals.

Reason #1: You don’t really want it.

There. I said it.

But, hear me out because this is the ONE thing we get scared to talk about.

We turn a blind eye like it’ll go away on its own. —> It won’t.

Maybe you don’t really want it because you haven’t identified what’s in it for you.

You’re doing it for everyone else. Your kids. Your spouse. Your naysayers.

You’re doing it because you think you should.

You’re doing it because it sounds good.

Because you’ll be the first in your family to do it

…and blah, blah, blah.

But, when it’s all said and done – Is this really what YOU want?

‘Cause building a business is hardcore. No fluffy stuff.

You’ve gotta want it more than you’re afraid it.

If the pain of where you are is not greater than the pain of where you want to go, you will not play bigger.

So, get really clear on why YOU want it.

Is it because you prefer flexible work days that give you the freedom to hit the gym in the mornings?

Or, maybe you desire to travel and see the world.

Connect with your personal why aside from your kids, or even your significant other.

Don’t do it for someone else. Do it for you.

Reason #2: You don’t really think it’s possible for you.

>>> Ouch.

Are you watching success fall on everyone else and doubting it’s possible for you?

Doubt and fear can be sneaky.

One minute you’re ready to implement your vision board. The next minute, you’re wondering how the big puzzle will all come together.

So then…

You stop showing up.

You hold back on sharing what you can do for your clients.

You hide behind your social media profile.

You resist the possibility of success.

And there’s no magic formula to avoid it.

We all struggle with insecurities, fear and imposter syndrome, but…

Confidence makes you show up, anyway.

And confidence comes from knowing what makes you stand out —> your superpowers.

It’s about knowing how…

  • your approach
  • your skill-set
  • and your experiences have made space for you in the marketplace.

Do me a favor.

Think about the one thing you’re avoiding in your business that’s keeping you stuck.

Now, ask yourself:

  • What scares you about achieving this goal?
  • What’s the payoff for staying where you are?

Really figure this out because I guarantee it’ll change the way you operate in your business and give you insight into why playing small will never get you the results you’re aiming for.

You’re made for this.

It’s time you stop second-guessing yourself and dimming your light.

Dreaming big is only as powerful as the action that comes behind it.
